Boohoo evoked criticizers first and that attracted many
The First Most Weird Fashion in 2019, its Boohoo’s.Their post received comments as weird as their jean, but we at FART Magazine would see it as a smart move. SURPRISE! The word that tickles our brain, pushes out our eyes, and that involuntarily pulls our upper lip towards the north and the lower lip towards the south! So that is what any good businessman and businesswoman would choose to make their customers just to have them inside their showroom/website, once you are there and if you have money, they know how good a new year they can have! This isn’t a psychologist’s thing, this is just thinking from the “me-point-of-view”. How many of you could resist yourself from buying any fashionable cloth that transforms you to a Deepika Padukone? (exaggerating, please don’t mind) If your wallet could muddle through, definitely that isn’t going to hang there in that luxury outlet for long rather in your wardrobe where the cloth itself would feel like a stranger among the other not-that-hot looking ones.
Boohoo’s founders Mahmood Kamani and Carol Kane have been working well behind the brand since 2006. So won’t they know what is the good and the weird fashion? They certainly would. The design of reverse jean is not the first of its kind. Ben Taverniti Unravel Project released a pair of reverse mid-rise denim shorts, sold at Farfetch for just £375. So even the idea is not a brain stormed one! But yes, so many have noticed Boohoo’s reverse jean post and unfortunately commented bad, which only pushed them to fame, which is the fortunate outcome the brand received.
If this was completely unintentional and the designer never knew there was a reverse denim shorts already out. I would say, “Come on! It’s okay to be weird.”
It’s Monday, folks, be it your business, be it your workplace, it is where you dump your ideas, good or bad. You toss a coin either head or tail comes up, the audience/customer/client may like it or may be not. But all you need is to surprise your customers/clients, you have to convey that YOU ARE GIVING SURPRISES! Because Humans love surprises. Boohoo’s idea isn’t bad, this reverse jean is for that unique ones who just wanted to look weird but awesome!
You see a placard written, “BUY 2 GET 1 FREE”, you miss to notice the very minute sized font written, “*Conditions Apply”. Like how we all saw Boohoo’s reverse jean, but not how they marketed their brand.
